Joe Purdy is a television writer, currently working with The Jim Henson Company on several projects. He is a writer and story editor on Sid the Science Kid and the co-creator and head-writer of Wilson & Ditch: Digging America.
Purdy co-wrote 3 Pigs and a Baby, the debut film in the Henson Company's Unstable Fables series, along with oft-collaborator Craig Bartlett. Purdy is also working on the company's upcoming computer-animted series Jim Henson's Dinosaur Train.
