Judy Rothman (also known as Judy Rothman Rofé) is a screenwriter and lyricist specializing in children's entertainment. Rothman worked on such children's series as Arthur, Angelina Ballerina, Bill and Ted's Excellent Animated Adventures, Alftales, Camp Candy, Strawberry Shortcake and The Puzzle Place; and she won an Emmy in 2002 for "Best Animated Program" for her work on the series Madeline (for which she collaborated with composer Joe Raposo on the theme song).

Rothman worked with Alex Rockwell as writer, co-producer, lyricist for the HDPS television series Frances. Rothman and Rockwell wrote the lyrics for songs, which used melodies from from well-known classical compositions.

Rothman worked with the Jim Henson Company again as lyricist on Jim Henson's Pajanimals and on Jim Henson's Word Party.
