Laugh Pad was a proposed television series developed by The Jim Henson Company and The Dan Clark Company. Intended for a preschool audience, the series was developed for airing on Cartoon Network. A concept pilot/demo, directed by Dan Clark, was produced in the fall of 2006 using the Henson Digital Performance Studio. The show was under consideration with Cartoon Network for their preschool line-up Tickle U, however the network decided not to pick up the show, as Tickle U the show was to be a part of was canceled.
The show featured Lagoon, an alien-like creature, and other digital puppets - including a brown rabbit and a blue elephant, among others - playing in a digitally-created world. The show also featured Tammy, a human actor who was inserted into shots interacting with the real-time-animated characters.
