"The Perfect Pancake!" is the ninth episode of the television series Sid the Science Kid.

Episode description[]

Sid wants to know how his Grandma always makes perfect pancakes—they’re never too squishy, and never burnt. At school, Sid makes an important discovery, heat changes things! And finally Sid learns the secret of Grandma’s pancakes—she heats them on the stove for the perfect amount of time...not too much, and not too little.

Trivia[]

  • During the scene where Sid and May play the Cold and Hot game outside, the lighting looks different than most early episodes. This episode scene might be the first time where the lighting looks more realistic. You can tell because of the large shades, and more bright lighting in the sun areas. This lighting, albeit slightly modified, will be used for the rest of the episodes onwards, starting with The Itchy Tag.
